He supported the states of Syria-Palestine in the struggle against Assyria. Co-regent of Takelot I from about 886/885 BC.

The period: Third Intermediate Period
The realm breaks up into several spheres of power: kings of Libyan descent in the Nile Delta, the High Priests of Amun in Thebes and finally the kings of Kush from what is now Sudan.
