Attested on scarabs from Palestine to Kerma; perhaps identical with Beon.

Many kings in quick succession weaken the realm. Immigrants from Western Asia, the Hyksos (‘rulers of foreign lands’), take power in the north, while a separate royal house rules in Thebes.
